Delivering a cohesive look for all Team USA athletes during travel.
2. Designing with Purpose
Developed multiple mood boards drawing from: Delta’s brand palette (Navy, Red, and Sky Blue) Olympic motifs and American heritage patterns Athletes’ performance and travel needs Initial sketches focused on layering options, breathability, and universal sizing for all body types.
3. Material Sourcing & Functional Features
Sourced eco-conscious, performance-grade textiles with wrinkle resistance, stretch recovery, and moisture management. Included hidden passport pockets, collapsible hoods, and noise-reducing features (e.g., hood padding for neck support during flights).
4. Prototyping & Feedback Loop
Developed prototypes of travel jackets, joggers, and layering tees. Conducted athlete fit tests with select Team USA members to gather feedback on mobility, temperature regulation, and aesthetic. Iterated based on user feedback to accommodate movement, garment flexibility, and cultural inclusivity.
5. Brand Alignment & Finalization
Worked with Delta’s brand team to ensure logo placement, typography, and tone aligned with both Delta and Team USA brand guidelines. Final touches included co-branded labels, subtle patriotic detailing (e.g., star stitching, flag trims), and team insignia.
6. Production Coordination
Partnered with Delta-approved vendors to coordinate sizing, logistics, and mass production timelines. Completed QA reviews to ensure color consistency, durability, and final fit. Ensured compliance with Olympic licensing and apparel regulations.
7. Delivery & Debut
Shipped kits to athletes prior to their international travel. Travelwear debuted as Team USA boarded flights en route to the Games, garnering widespread attention on social media and press channels.
